Balancing the Scales invites you to attend World Day Against the Death Penalty Eucharist on Friday, Oct. 10 at 7pm CT at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral (113 N. 18th St., Omaha).

World Day Against the Death Penalty is celebrated each year on Oct. 10 to support the call for the end of capital punishment. Community members of The Benedictine Way will participate in and attend this service in support of this call and the work of Balancing the Scales.

Bishop Barker will preside at the Eucharist, and Rev. Stephen Griffith, former executive director of Nebraskans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty and UMC minister, will serve as preacher.
