Summer Interns with the community of The Benedictine Way at worship in the park.

Spend a Summer at The Benedictine Way

Our Summer Internship program is open to young adults ages 18+ who are interested in spending part or all of their summer months here at The Benedictine Way. Summer interns will live and pray with the community similar to the members of The Benedictine Service Corps, living at St. Benedict’s house and being active volunteers and leaders in our various ministries.

A summer internship at The Benedictine Way is an opportunity to pray and reflect while serving the poorest among us. At the end of their summer in the community, interns may return to school, work, or perhaps go on to become Benedictine Service Corps members.

Similar to the Benedictine Service Corps, summer interns will be provided with housing, food, utilities, and a small stipend. A Benedictine life is a simple life, and like our Service Corps members, we invite our summer interns to embrace a life of simplicity, prayer, and Christian community. The Rule of Benedict teaches us how to live in peace with one another, how to listen to God and one another more deeply, and how to live a life of service.
